The Force Behind India’s Food Processing Growth and Innovation

FIWA, established in 2018 under the leadership of Dr. Girish Gupta, functions as a nationally recognized association dedicated to strengthening medium and small-scale enterprises across India’s food processing landscape. Registered under The Societies Registration Act, 1860, the organization focuses on enhancing sector capabilities through knowledge development, capacity building, and structured industry support. With a vision to elevate Indian enterprises to global standards, FIWA works to bridge skill gaps, promote compliance preparedness, and facilitate sustainable growth across diverse industry segments.

FIWA runs programs that support the operational and strategic growth of small and medium enterprises by improving industry readiness, competitiveness, and alignment with evolving sector needs. It also plans to set up an Incubation Center in Delhi/NCR to provide structured, affordable training in food processing, offering practical skills, modern practices, and standardized operational knowledge.
